Diff'rent Strokes (1984-1985)

Late in the 6th season of this popular sitcom, Philip Drummond (Conrad Bain) fell in love with feisty TV-exercise-show hostess, Maggie McKinney (Dixie Carter). They were married shortly thereafter, adding Maggie's son Sam (Danny Cooksey) to the already unconventional dynamic of the Drummond household.

When the 7th season began, Dixie was a credited co-star and played the part of Maggie through the end of the season and the series' NBC run.
