Some of you may be curious as to why Dixie Carter's Official Website is called The Cabaret, and some of you may already be able to guess. Dixie Carter has been critically and popularly acclaimed for many years for her cabaret act which she brings on tour when her schedule allows. Since a cabaret is often a show where "anything goes," it seemed appropriate that this site be called The Cabaret in order to incorporate the many aspects of her career.

Sultry, sassy, sweet, smart, spiritual, and oh so Southern -- Dixie Carter is truly a rare talent! Though most people know her best as Julia Sugarbaker on Designing Women and more recently as Randi King on Family Law, this site will provide you with a look at the rest of her career, as well. And there's much to see! Actress, singer, writer -- she's done it all. And done it so well!

Thank you for visiting The Cabaret!
